Lovely modern clean rooms. Had a nice quiet nights sleep. Staff in the hotel polite. Breakfast staff whilst pleasant seemed a little bit overworked and not as friendly as the reception staff. Food was cooked to order and was of good quality.
Just returned from a 2 night stay here with my wife and daughter , family room was perfect for us as our daughter is 6 and loved it being us all together , room was very clean and they added a nice touch with a Easter hunt for a hidden chick to redeem a prize from reception . Started the stay off really well , we stayed in the annex building of the hotel . It was quiet and peaceful in the evening . The restaurant in with the hotel was a beefeater restaurant/pub , we opted for the meal deal . So our daughter got free breakfast , and we got our breakfast and 2 course evening meal and first drink included . Food was great . Freshly cooked , even the hot breakfast . I think it was £5.99 for 2 courses for our daughter to add onto our evening meal . The staff in both the restaurant and the hotel were a credit to the companies . So friendly , welcoming and great at engaging conversation with us . Location was great as we went to formby beach before checking in ( around 20 mins away ) and then to Southport the following day in Uber which only cost £10 each way ! Thank you so much for making our little Easter getaway a happy one
Very nice hotel and location, very nice lady on reception who couldn't have been any more helpful which I find a nice start to any stay. Ample parking and a Beefeater directly next door covers any food options required and an easy booking service provided by reception. Reception in staffed 24hrs aswell and has a vending machine for drinks and snacks if required also there are shops around a 5 minute drive in either direction.
Excellent base for visiting Southport. Lovely clean room incl a bath. Receptionist was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate breakfast in the pub next door which was lovely Loads of parking. Hotel really quiet at all times. We attended a funeral and both Crematoriums are within 5 minute drive
Very good hotel near Southport and Ormskirk good for short stay only 20mins from town center of Southport and 25mins from formby red squirrels all good at hotelwould recommend to all Derek

Very tired hotel and attached restaurant but comfy beds and great nights sleep
Been staying here for years and full compliments to a very friendly staff . Always very helpful and friendly. Food is fantastic again never any complaints
